A lot of structural work opened out the space where the original kitchen was situated, which was very dark. A light spacious kitchen was needed with enough storage space for a family of four. The client’s appliances had to be incorporated into the design, including a free-standing American fridge freezer, range cooker and dishwasher.
A Pendle light oak and pale green painted kitchen, with a wide, curved breakfast bar topped with Mistral worksurfaces. The fridge freezer was housed between two tall cupboards with a lift up cupboard running across the top. A structural gap was hidden with a designer radiator which matches the radiator of the adjoining dining room.
