To extend and update an existing bathroom by knocking into an adjoining dressing room
The clients were already aware of the Duravit brand having previously had Duravit products in their old house. They knew they wanted a double basin with plenty of storage space so the Ketho vanity unit with the D-Code double basin was perfect. The basin wall needed to be stepped out to hide boxed in pipes and the unit makes a feature of this wall. The clients liked the New Darling range also from Duravit and chose a floorstanding back to wall pan. They wanted a large double ended bath and chose an Adamsez Solar bathtub which was dropped into a tiled surround with double alcoves recessed into the back wall above the bath.
A large Simpsons corner shower enclosure with an Ecostat Raindance shower head from Crosswater is positioned at the other end of the bathroom.
‘The installation needed to be done in a hurry as we had Christmas coming up and we were very pleased that David the fitter managed to do this. He was very amenable. The showroom has such an extensive range of tiles on display and at every price/budget that we found chosing tiles quite easy. Mark showed us several options and it was an easy decision’.
